You Don't Have to Carry It All on Your Own

Support That Meets You Where You Are

The anxiety has become overwhelming. You're exhausted from trying to hold it all together, or stuck in patterns you thought you'd already outgrown. You might be adjusting to motherhood or navigating parenting with more questions than answers. Or you're starting to realize that past experiences or trauma show up in your present in ways you can't ignore anymore.

Wherever you are in your journey, therapy can be a place to pause, reflect, and find new ways forward. You don't need to have it all figured out. Whether you're new to therapy or returning with a desire to go deeper, I'll meet you where you are with warmth, honesty, and care.

Trauma Therapy

If you grew up in a difficult environment, had emotionally unavailable caregivers, or keep finding yourself in painful relationship patterns, trauma therapy can help you understand how past experiences may be shaping your present. It's a space to reconnect with yourself, heal in relationship, and move forward with more clarity, self-trust, and meaningful connection. CTA: Learn More (link to trauma therapy page)

Perinatal Mental Health

Support for pregnancy, postpartum, and the transition to parenthood. Whether you're a new parent or planning to become one, this is a space to process the emotional shifts, identity changes, and relationship dynamics that come with becoming a mother.CTA: Learn More (link to PMH page)

Therapy for Anxiety

If your mind feels like it never shuts off-constantly overthinking, second-guessing, or expecting the worst-therapy can help you find steadiness. Together, we'll work to quiet the noise and create more space for calm, confidence, and ease.CTA: Learn More (link to therapy for anxiety page)

Parenting Support

Parenting has a way of bringing everything to the surface-past hurts, unexpected emotions, or questions about who you want to be as a parent. Therapy can help you parent with more intention, respond rather than react, and feel more grounded in your values and connection with your child.CTA: Learn More (link to parenting page)

It's okay to need support. We're not meant to do this alone.

Many people walk around feeling like they're the only ones struggling, especially those who seem to have it all together on the outside. The truth is, being human is hard. Life brings us moments and seasons that are painful, confusing, and deeply lonely. And when we don't have space to process what's happening internally, it can start to show up in ways we don't expect: anxiety, burnout, relationship conflict, disconnection, or just a sense of being stuck.

Therapy is a space to be honest without judgment. To name the things you've been carrying quietly. To feel seen and begin to see yourself differently, too.

This work isn't about "fixing" you. It's about helping you feel more like yourself.

Hi, I'm Dr. Jessica Freilich

I help parents, young adults, and those navigating anxiety, trauma, or life transitions find insight, relief, and greater connection to themselves and others.

I'm a licensed clinical psychologist providing individual therapy in Illinois and PSYPACT states. My work is grounded in relational, psychodynamic, and attachment-based approaches, and I often integrate mindfulness and CBT tools when helpful. I specialize in helping people explore what's beneath their symptoms, while still offering practical tools for managing day-to-day life.

Above all, I believe in the power of a trusting relationship to make therapy feel both safe and transformative.
